After high school Robert Reyes, began to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation with the intention of making that career his life’s work. However, after ten years of service, he realized that the promotional system did not include him. This caused him to seek another career field. A few short years after he joined the ranks of the Houston Fire Department, he fell to his death off Engine 15 while traveling on the North Freeway to a car fire.
