Comments: Jay never knew a stanger. I have never met a person that had such
a commitment to getting along with everyone he met. I worked side by side with
Jay at our dept. and always went to him for ideas of how to deal with certain
people. He just seemd to have that knack for taking a bad situation and making
it good. God Bless you Jay Jahnke, and may he take care of your family in your
absence.

Comments: It has been a little over 7 months since you left us Jay and the
pain still feels like it happened yesterday. There is a permenant hole in my
heart. Your are truly my hero and one of the closest friends I have ever had.
The lessons you taught me about the fire service and life will never be
forgotten. You are sorley missed and I am truley privliged to have worked and
learned from you. Scott thank you so very much for this site it brings much
peace to be able and come back and reflect on the man Jay was... Keep up the
good work!
