Jay "Bird" flew away
from us and became an angel over seven months ago. I remember the day he died
like it was yesterday. By the next day my guest book had handled over 30
entries, and did not slow down for about a week. His friends, relatives and people that did
not know him were "speaking" to him to tell him and all of us
what an impact he had made while he was on earth. To this day the guest book
still gets messages for him from friends and relatives telling him how much they
miss him. I personally miss him a lot. A couple months ago one of the firefighters at my
station got on to me about wearing a bracelet with a FDNY
firefighter's name on it, and not one with Jay's name on it. What he did not realize I
don't need a bracelet with
Jay's name on it, I have him in my heart, 24/7. So here is the guest book
