 I crossed paths with Captain Harlow a few times in my 31 years in the Department, but never had the pleasure of working a shift with him.

This week has been overwhelming at best and it is a rare occasion for me that I am at a temporary loss for words but promise I will add more to this page soon.

When i first began this page i was unable to put the words about this great man onto this page. Now as far as my loss of words I am sure that Captain Harlow read my column and probably would tease me to this fact.

The last memorial service that i went to in that church was for Grady burkeThe fact is that he has made my endeavor of keeping the memory of the houston fire fightrers very easy.
