WTC Site Closing Ceremonies
As announced by Mayor Bloomberg, the ceremonies to commemorate the closing of the World Trade Center site will take place on May 30, 2002. After eight months, the rescue and recovery operation at Ground Zero is coming to an end. This event will be marked by a ceremony at the site beginning at 10:29am. (Fdny online)
